Wellsfield Farm Pony Rides

We offer childrens pony rides all year round. 

They are very popular. Minimum child age is 3 years.

Held 7 days per week in summer and in winter. Times may vary according to season.

The pony ride consists of a trek on the ponies, led by experienced hands going from the equestrian centre office in the farm courtyard up the fishery track and back, adults can follow – duration 15 minutes.

A pony ride is a great way of introducing your kids to horses before taking any formal riding lessons. 

We use Shetland Ponies for small children and larger ponies for older children.

£12 for 15mins lead by experienced hand. £24 for 30mins.
