The fishery is set in beautiful natural surroundings. It is spring fed with crystal clear water plus a natural feeder burn. There is an abundance of natural insect life and an abundance of aquatic life including nymphs, buzzers, fry, minnow, stickleback, beetles, shrimp, snails, flies, amphibians and terrestrials which encourages the trout to be free rising, in fact it is not unusual to see trout rising even on the coldest and dullest of days, giving excellent surface sport.

Floating, intermediate and sinking lines work well with a long leader. Buzzers, Bloodworm, Nymphs (Pheasant Tail, Hares Ear, Damsels, Dragonfly), Attractor Lures, Cats, Fritzs, Crafetyes, Dancers, Wagglers, Emergers, Dry Flies and selections of traditional wet flies all catch plenty fish.

A friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a peaceful and very tranquil spot. The fishery is managed to maximise the enjoyment of trout fishing. Keen fishermen ourselves, we have used our own knowledge and experience of trout fishing and field sports, countryside land management, wildlife habitat conservation and tourism and leisure management to create an outstanding trout fishery which offers something special for the keen trout fisherman.

Full Time Fishery Manager and Bailiffs always on hand to give assistance and advice.

We sell fishing tackle on site, including fly and bait fishing kits, fly rods, fly reels, fly lines, landing nets, bass bags, flies and lures, fluorocarbon and leader material, spinning rods, spinning reels, nylon, rod rests, bubble floats, weights, hooks, swivels, spinners.

We always sell bait at the fishery - Powerbait, worms, maggots and wasp grubs.

We also hire out fly rods, spinning rods and landing nets.

We sell River Carron Fishing Permits (Season, Weekly and Day Permits) for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout.

We run a White Tagged Prize Fish (£500) and Red Tagged Prize Fish (£50) Competition:
Catch a white tagged trout and win the money. Prize fish are stocked and caught regularly.
